The main mission of Homac Fundación is to defend the rights of ALL people to live with dignity. Homac Foundation is a relatively new organisation which was set up thanks to the experiences of a group of volunteers collaborating with a number of religious orders in Ethiopia.

The Foundation is non political , secular and not for profit and was registered with the Generalitat of Cataloniain October 2004. Ethiopia is located in the so called "Horn of Africa" and is the second most populated countryin Africa.

The country has gone through a number of wars over the last 30 years, which together with the droughts has caused great hardship to the people, whose life expectancy is around a mere 45 years. Although most of our iniciatives take place in Ethiopia over the past few months we have extended ouractivities to India and Madagascar.
