Project Description

OXYGEN CONCENTRATORS

The Attat rural hospital is located 175km southeast of Addis Ababa, in the Gurague area.

It is managed in a mixed way between the international congregation of the Medical Mission Sister and the local community. It is a reference hospital for a population of almost 800,000 people with only 65 beds. The most important services are gynecology and obstetrics.

In 2017 they asked Homac Fundación for financial help to buy two oxygen concentrators for the neonatal and pediatric ward, as well as spare parts for their autoclave equipment (sterilizers) for the surgery area.

We have been supporting the hospital with medical supplies since 2017. That year, 2 concentrators (3,800€) and autoclave equipment (4,004€) were purchased. In both 2018 and 2019, four more units were purchased (1,500€ /u)
